The setting for the show is the gardens of this splendid estate, which the Smithsonian Institute considers “one of the greatest late Victorian gardens created in the United States...that has survived completely intact.” And, Canandaigua is located just 7 miles south of the New York Thruway, providing easy access to Sonnenberg from the metropolitan areas of Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse.
