Visitors to Sonnenberg
The setting for the art show is the gardens of this splendid estate, which the Smithsonian Institute considers “one of the greatest late Victorian gardens created in the United States...that has survived completely intact.” And, Canandaigua is located just 7 miles south of the New York Thruway, providing easy access to Sonnenberg from the metropolitan areas of Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse.
No pets, except service animals, are permitted on the grounds of Sonnenberg.
Visitors are welcome to enjoy self-guided tours of the mansion and grounds during Arts at the Gardens weekend. Sonnenberg's new audio cell phone tour containing 19 stops is free, except for the cost of your minutes. Docents in Sonnenberg Mansion will be on-hand to answer your questions about the estate.
There are no ATM machines on the grounds of Sonnenberg.
