From NYS 90 West or 90 East: There are 2 possible exits- #44 or #43
from the NYS Thruway.
From Exit 44: When you go through the toll, you will be on Route 332 South. Stay on 332 for about 7.5 miles. You will come to the city of Canandaigua. You will pass a TOPS Supermarket (on right.) 332 South becomes Main Street in Canandaigua. After the stoplight at TOPS, you will have 2 more stoplights, one at Buffalo Street, and one at Fort Hill Avenue. One block south of Fort Hill Avenue on the left is Howell Street. Turn onto Howell. Take it all the way to the end and you come to the main gate of Sonnenberg.
IF YOU MISS HOWELL STREET- keep going south for 2 blocks- you will come to another stoplight at Gibson Street. Turn left onto Gibson Street, go about .5 miles. On the left, look for Charlotte Street. Turn left onto Charlotte. You will come to an intersection w/ Howell Street and our Main Gate.
From Exit 43: After the toll you come to Route 21. Turn South (right) onto 21. Go about 6 miles on route 21. You will pass East Street. Up ahead on the right is Charlotte Street. Turn right onto Charlotte Street. You will come to a 3 way stop and our main gate is on the right.
From Routes 5 and 20:
From the West- take routes 5 and 20 until you get to Main Street (route 332.) Turn left (north) onto Main Street. Notice that there is a grassy median dividing the north and south bound lanes. Go north about 1 mile. When you come to the end of the grassy median, one block north on the right will be Howell Street. Turn onto Howell Street and take it all the way to the end to our main gate.
From the East: Turn right (north) onto Main Street. Notice that there is a grassy median dividing the north and south bound lanes. Go north about 1 mile. When you come to the end of the grassy median, one block north on
