We are preparing for the ninth annual Arts at the Gardens...
a juried fine art show and sale on the grounds of the Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park, in Canandaigua, NY, on August 22 and 23, 2009. The event is held rain or shine from 10 am until 5 pm each day. Arts at the Gardens features paintings, prints, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, glass, woodwork, photography, and other fine art created by 100 talented artists chosen from a large pool of applicants from across the country. Visitors can also enjoy a glass of wine or have a bite to eat in the food tent. Admission includes a visit to the beautiful Sonnenberg Mansion and Gardens.
Arts at the Gardens has been ranked as one of the top rated Fine Art Shows in all of New York State.

Application Instructions: Read and follow the instructions carefully. Incomplete or unsigned applications will NOT be accepted.
We invite students to submit images of their work for judging. Work may be submitted in any media category. We ask that the attached application form be filled out in its entirety and sent along with the required photo disk to:

All applications must be received by July 17, 2009. Finalists will be selected by jury and notified by July 24, 2009.
Disks: Submit up to 10 close-up images representative of your body of work. Multiple pieces are acceptable as are multiple angles of a single item. Images must be in jpg format. Photographs of work will not be accepted. Write your name and telephone number on the disk.
If you would like your disc returned, please provide a self addressed stamped envelope for the disc.
The artwork will first be juried by a panel of Rochester art professionals. If selected as a finalist, the artwork and artist must be present at the 9th annual Arts at the Gardens Fine Art Show and Sale on August 22 and 23, 10 am-5pm at Sonnenberg Gardens and Mansion State Historic Park in Canandaigua. Guest passes to the show will be provided.
The selected artwork will be displayed under a tent gallery and a final judging by the show judges will be made. Decision of the judges is final.
The scholarship recipient will be announced at a special artist reception on Saturday evening, August 22 just after 5:00 pm. Artist must be present to win.
