We are proud to present the eighth annual Arts at the Gardens...
a juried fine art show and sale on the grounds of the Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park, in Canandaigua, NY, on August 23 and 24, 2008. The event is held rain or shine from 10 am until 5 pm each day. Arts at the Gardens features paintings, prints, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, glass, woodwork, photography, and other fine art created by 100 talented artists chosen from a large pool of applicants. Visitors are also treated to a diversity of Finger Lakes wines and food. Admission includes a visit to the beautiful Sonnenberg Mansion and Gardens.
Arts at the Gardens has been ranked as one of the two top rated Fine Art Shows in all of New York State.

Arts at the Gardens , in the spirit of nurturing fine art, is offering the first annual $1000 Budding Artist Scholarship award to a college fine art major. The four finalists were selected by a jury from a pool of applicants. The winner will be chosen by the Arts at the Gardens judges and announced at the show. Come meet this year’s finalists in the new artist group tent located behind rows D and E:
KATIE COLE is a senior at Nazareth College. She prefers to work in metal and ceramics to create sculptures and jewelry. She just completed a month of study in Italy.
BRIANA COOGAN-BASSETT is in her second year at Genesee Community College majoring in fine arts. She works in several media.
CHARITY HENDERSON is a studio art major at SUNY Brockport. This sophomore likes to paint and draw. She uses photographic sources for her inspiration.
GREG PARIZEK is a senior art major at SUNY Brockport and excels in pottery and ceramics.
